Conflict Mineral Project Manager  :深圳

JobDescription

Conflict Mineral Project Manager in China is to drive IBM's effort to attain aConflict Free supply chain.

Need to engage IBM's direct suppliers to assess their upstream supply chain ofsmelters and refiners of tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold with the goal ofassuring no materials from conflict sources in central Africa are inadvertentlyincorporated into IBM's products.

In this role, need to have responsibility for dealing with many smelters inChina that were uncooperative and resistant to participate in the industrystandard conflict mineral audit process.

Required Expertise

1) Familiarity with aspects of any or some of:
- Work experience with China / Asia tantalum, tin, tungsten or gold smelters orrefiners is highly valued and will be the priority candidate selection criteria
- Conflict Minerals / US Dodd-Frank legislation / SEC filing experience ispreferred
- Supply Chain Social Responsibility programs- Electronics IndustriallyCitizenship Coalition (EICC) and code of conduct- Production ProcurementSuppliers and associated Supply Chain
- Business Controls / Compliance work

2) Strong analytical and problem solving skillsCan work independently and as atechnical contributor as part of a global cross functional team.

3) Required to work across time zones and with multi-cultural global teams.

4) Work with Procurement/Buyers, Engineering, Product Development, Legal,corporate functions, Suppliers, etc.

5) Good at MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Expertise

Engineering background is a plus
