JobDescription

Act as the single point of contact for nominated interaction between client anddelivery team
Act as Primary Contact for the project and perform the required Managementactivities in compliance with agreed standards and processes. These activitiesinclude scope management, cost management, time management, etc.
Agree on requirements, deliverables, target dates, cost and 3rd partydependencies
Change Management of Client requirements/scope for the project
Manage impact of changes to the project and Priorities on the deliveryorganization
Reporting & Tracking of project progress
Facilitation and coordination of timely delivery of all project components,work products and deliverables
Work with delivery or project team to obtain nay release schedule data requiredto assist in the scheduling and management of the project.
Escalation of project related RAID (Risk Action Issue Dependency) items where appropriateto IBM Management, Client, delivery hierarchy and 3rd parties
Other related activities:
Schedule, chair meetings and prepare minutes from each meeting includingproject Kickoff
Provide Client required project reporting as specified by the PDR (ProjectDefinition Report)
Provide IBM internal project status reports as required for the project
Overall project planning & scheduling
Ensure that DC China has complete financial coverage for all undertakenactivities
Ensure that DC China have aligned schedules where there are inter dependenciesbetween projects

Required Expertise

At least 8 years of working experience in IT industry including 3~5 years inproject management
Experience with Networking projects including equipments refresh,infrastructure build out, circuit upgrades and site relocations
Understand the complexities in working for a multi-national, cross functionalbusinesses within a matrixed organization
Applied knowledge of Project Management and Office tools
Good knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Demonstrated project management skills in a complex environment
Excellent inter personal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level attention to detail
Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information
Problem solving skills
Lateral thinking


Preferred Expertise

Agile methodology experience is a plus
Desire to continuously improve Project Management skill
Self-confident with Can-do Attitude
Be proactive and flexible in the approach to work
PMP certificate is a plus
