Responsibility Level:
This position is focused on the development, documentation, training and implementation of standard IT processes which includes process modeling and design of IT standard processes under the ITIL V3 framework and working across IT teams to develop IT operational and service delivery processes. This position will also responsible for IT training programs management that serve the current and development needs of PS China employees; to deliver training courses; to assist in a wide range of activities to improve organizational effectiveness.
Perform duties, under the guidance and supervision from the manager, utilizing knowledge and skills commensurate with the requirements of the position and uses interpersonal skills to support and coordinate in various areas.
Typical Duties:
1. Assists with defining ITIL process management scope, target, roadmap and strategy;
2. Conducts process studies, gap analysis and feasibility studies; Assists with preparing business case, project charter and other materials for the proposal phase;
3. Participates in process modeling activities including process detail design(organization, R&R, input & output and KPI report template), process mapping, process improvement project planning, execution and management;
4. Working under the guidance from the manager, provides support to process pilot, roll out and other implementation tasks;
5. Composes and maintains process documents according to corporate BOS standard format;
6. Collects data and generates KPI reports on regular basis to assess the process effectiveness;
7. Provides support and administration of corporate collaboration tools including Employee Portal, eRoom, Webtop, Discussion Forum, Wiki and etc;
8. Works closely with HR Communications, local page authors and NA portal support team on Asia employee portal related matters and initiatives;
9. Conducts IT training needs assessments; anticipates future training needs based on company’s technology roadmaps;
10. Works closely with HR and ITLT to develop annual IT training plan/calendar; Evaluates training effectiveness using customer survey or other methods;
11. Acts as a resource, providing professional IT technology/process training to all employees;
12. Assists with creating training manuals, online learning modules and other necessary materials;
13. Explores and leverages new tools and technologies to improve training efficiency, e.g. LMS, Telepresence, screen recording.
14. Keep supervisor informed of status, concerns or problems and recommended solutions.
15. Ensures adherence to company standards throughout the system life-cycle.
16. Remain knowledgeable of information technology and company business operations.
17. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or comparable field
3-5 years of experience in related area, experience in MNC is a plus
Proven experience in process definition and validation
Experience in IT operations, Infrastructure and support of core systems
Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking and problem solving skills
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and organization skills
ITIL V3 Foundation certification is required , additional ITIL certifications are preferred
ISO20000, COBIT and other industry standards knowledge is a plus
Knowledge about ITSM tools (BMC Remedy, IBM Tivoli, HP OpenView) is a plus
Knowledge about SOX compliance and IT security is a plus
Competence in documenting processes using Microsoft Visio
Good verbal and written English/Chinese skill is a MUST
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Located in office environment and occasional domestic travels are required.
