Staff Project Manager  汇报给瑞典人



PURPOSE OF JOB:  
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.


The Project Management Office (PMO) is providing professional project management services to the Sony Mobile IT projects. The Project Manager is key to delivering high quality solutions by driving projects primarily towards external suppliers and ensuring internal customer satisfaction, compliance with internal processes, technical strategies and quality standards.

The Project Manager is responsible for the assigned project/s (small to large) from project initiation to completion including;
?        Scope Management
?        Time Management
?        Cost Management
?        Quality Management
?        Resource Management
?        Communication Management
?        Risk Management
?        Procurement Management

The responsibilities for the Project Manager include:

?        To account to the business the success of all projects including project deliverables, project deadlines and budget variance
?        Liaise directly with the business to ensure project goals and objectives are in line with company requirements and values
?        Apply known methodology such as PROPS and designing and applying an appropriate project management framework for all projects (using relevant project standards)
?        Successfully initiate, plan, execute and close all project deliverables as committed.
?        Planning and monitoring the project
?        Publish project plans and schedules as needed.
?        Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
?        Reporting through agreed reporting lines on project progress
?        Managing project administration
?        Preparing a Lessons Learned report
?        Preparing any follow-on action recommendations as required
?        Coordinate and track dependencies for the successful completion of the project.



TOP FIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

2.        20%        Report project status to stakeholders and responsible persons within Corp IT
3.        20%        Secure that necessary project documentation is delivered in time
4.        10%        Raise/highlight issues that require decision to steering group
5.        10%        Ensure effective handover to operations (AM), produce final report and review before project closure


Other                Ensure good structure, working spirit and communication in the project.

2.        Qualification (Professional / Education):
?        Project Management training (PMI certification or similar is desired)
?        Knowledge and experience of Waterfall project models (PROPS in particular)
?        Knowledge and experience of Agile project models (for ex Scrum)
?        A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
?        University degree is desired
?        Leadership training is desired
3.        Work Experience:
?        Minimum 2 years work experience in the area of project management
?        Experience from managing complex and strategic IT projects spanning multiple organizations and technology vendors
?        Experience from managing both business and technology development
?        Strong business focus with proven understanding that technology is an enabler to the business
?        Commercial and political awareness
?        Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
?        Excellent team management experience
?        Experience from a multinational/multicultural environment
?        Business exposure – working in or close with business operations
?        Experience of working in an outsourced environment
Other        Interfaces
?        Internally: Business Managers, IT Managers, Business Relationship Managers (BRM), Solution Managers, Application Architects
?        Externally: IT Suppliers and other project related third  parties
